With two minutes left in the first half, the Marauders only trailed host Milton by six points. By the time it got to halftime the deficit had grown to 14 and continued to escalate after the break as the Wildcats rolled to an 80-44 victory on Tuesday.
It was the 12th straight loss for the Marauders, who head into tonight’s regular season finale in Needham at 3-16 overall and 1-14 in the Bay State Conference.
Jeremy Clifford had a team-high 12 points while Kasey Kirby chipped in with 10.
Clifford had 27 last Thursday, but Dedham saw a lead slip away in the fourth quarter in a 69-65 loss to Walpole. Sean Birchall scored 12 points.
Walpole’s Scott Arsenault led all scorers with 22 including six 3-pointers.
