WALPOLE —

Old habits die hard, they say. However, with the approval of their owners, dog habits never die.

Dog’s “doo” your lawn, my walk, and our neighbor’s mulch. Then owner and “man’s best friend” walk away. Pooper-Scooper you say? Haven’t seen one yet. Besides, scoopers are only as effective as the dog owner himself.

When approached, owners often become annoyed with complaints of Fido’s remnants. This gross task of removal clearly belongs to us now.

Does this sound logical? Have we all gone mad? What part does the law play in this dilemma?

I advocate the control of doggy on his own property, subsequently a pristine walk with his owner. Help me out with this!

Dogs are animals. Please control your pet!
