The Dedham High School girls soccer team recently held their 14th annual golf tournament and the event was a huge success.
Sal Ledda, the tournament director, did another outstanding job in organizing this golf tournament. His tireless work and commitment in making this even a success has once again benefited the girls high school soccer program.
I would like to give a special thanks to Needham Bank and the Dedham Firefighters Association for their generous donations towards this event.
Also, I would like to thank the following organizations for their outstanding community driven support: Dedham Boosters, Dedham Youth Soccer, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Dedham Savings Bank, Polito Insurance, R.N.K. Communications, Best Buy, Ron’s Ice Cream, Maribu, Putterham Meadows Golf Club, Dedham Community Theater, Roche Bros., Centre Deli, the Dedham Times, and the Daily News Transcript.
Other supporters of this event were Selectman Carmen Dello Iacono, attorney Peter Zahka, and the Kilcoyne family.
This event would not have been the success it was without the help of the 80 golfers that participated and the numerous people that helped put this tournament together.
