On behalf of the Class of 2008, we would like to thank the Norwood School and Community Substance Abuse Advisory Council’s Post Prom Party Committee for their year of hard work and dedication in organizing this year’s 21st Annual Post Prom Party, “Lights, Camera, Norwood!,” held at the Civic Center May 16. It was an unforgettable night for all who attended! The Post Prom Party Committee unselfishly gave their time and energy to every stage of this giant undertaking. The objective of the Post Prom Party is to provide a drug- and alcohol-free environment where students have a fun and safe alternative to other possibly dangerous Prom Night activities. The Norwood Substance Abuse Advisory Council brings the school and community together knowing the importance of keeping their future safe. Two hundred fourteen seniors and their dates, approximately 95 percent of the Senior Class of 2008 attended the Post Prom Party. We sincerely appreciate everything that was done for us and we encourage and invite all to participate in the future.
