Letter: Town benches need a makeover

Noticeably, the wooden benches in Walpole are in dire need of staining to preserve them from having to be replaced at a high cost to taxpayers.

As a gesture of goodwill and public service, perhaps this message will motivate a Walpole business, club or group to provide the materials and volunteers to accomplish this worthwhile mission.

Needless to say, accepting this voluntary chore will be appreciated by all the residents in our friendly town of Walpole. This message is written in good faith; for coordinating information, contact the Administrator’s Office in Town Hall.
