To the Editor,

I wish to express my shock and anger when I read of the dismissal of Rita Kalcos.

It is a sad indictment of a governing board, who, demands a “gag” order. My experience with “gag” orders, is that, it is a method to insure a “cover-up” of truth and facts by a vindictive group or individual. If, in fact, a hidden agenda is the reason. Shame on the offending party.

As a senior citizen, a tax payer and a paying member of the Council on Aging in this town. I am opposed to close door meetings.

As a voting citizen, we are entitled to hear all the facts and come to our own conclusion.

Respectfully,

Catherine E. Litchfield
