Dedham School Committee members distributed 53 John and Abigail Adams Scholarships to Dedham High School students at a meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
State Rep. Paul McMurtry, a Dedham High School graduate, assisted with giving out the awards. Superintendent June Doe made a few comments about each student as he or she crossed the stage and received the certificate.
“What you all have in common is academic scholarship, and I’m most proud of you for that, but I also know each one of you,” Doe said. “You are fine representatives of the community.”
