Jane Goodman, the 72-year-old Dedham woman charged in a fatal hit-and-run on Great Plain Avenue last November, must now wait until June 17 for her pretrial hearing, which had originally been scheduled for Monday.
The case was continued due to scheduling conflicts, according to Norfolk County District Attorney spokesman David Traub.
The car Goodman drove allegedly struck 67-year-old Michael Dorfman of Framingham as he crossed Great Plain Avenue in Needham at the intersection of Maple Street and Glendoon Road. She apparently slowed down but did not stop after striking the victim, Norfolk County Assistant District Attorney Lea Tatelman said at the November arraignment.
Goodman pleaded not guilty.
She was charged with negligent motor vehicle operation resulting in a homicide, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and negligent operation.
