The first James G. Police Memorial Wiffle Ball Classic was held Saturday, Aug. 28 in Dedham. The Memorial Classic was created in memory of James Police, a teacher and wrestling coach at Dedham High for 32 years. Proceeds from the Memorial Classic will benefit the James G. Police Memorial Scholarship fund, an academic scholarship established by the Police family that benefits a Dedham High School wrestler who plans to attend a four-year college.Here are a few of the highlights.
