The Public is invited to attend the League of Women Voters Candidates Night tonight, Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall, Town Hall. The Moderator will be Kathryn Hasenjaeger from the Westwood/Walpole League of Women Voters.
All candidates for the April 6, 2009 Town Election have been invited to speak and answer questions. The two contested offices for Planning Board and Housing Authority will speak first, followed by the uncontested offices for Moderator, Library Trustee, Finance Commission, School Committee, Board of Health and Selectman.
The purpose of the Voter Service Program of the League is to promote action, informed citizen involvement in government. The program will also be covered by our Norwood Cable so please check their daily calendar for date and time. This is the voter’s chance to hear the candidates and ask questions.
