NORWOOD —
Norwood High School’s students will have their work exhibited at the Fred Holland Day House, 93 Day St., tomorrow and Sunday, April 18 and 19, and again on April 25 and 26, from noon. to 3 p.m.
Students enrolled in Drawing and Painting IV and in AP Drawing learned about the historical background of Fred Holland Day and his significance as a pioneer in American Fine Art Photography. Students then sketched their ideas for this unique assignment – to incorporate one of the three primary themes of Day’s work (Portraits, Allegory, and Historical sites) into their own work, which will be on display at the house the next two weekends.
