Three arrested on drug charges
NORWOOD - Three people arrested Sunday on Granite Street are facing drug charges, police said.
Andrea L. Poirier, 18, of 47 Mountain Ave., Patrick L. Haley, 18, of 38 Savin Ave., and David Max Malacaria, 19, of 37 Granite St. were arrested after officers were called to the Granite Street home at 3:27 a.m. for suspected drug activity, police said.
Poirier was and charged with possession of a Class D substance. Haley and Malacaria were charged with possession of a Class D substance with intent to distribute, police said.
Pair arrested after altercation
NORWOOD - Police were called to Washington Street in South Norwood on Sunday at 10:28 p.m. for a reported fight.
Police arrested Jason P. Giampietro, 28, and Gregory J. Giampietro, 19, both of 8 Summer St. in Walpole, and charged them with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed burglary.
Gregory Giampietro was also charged with assault and battery and intimidating a witness.
Norwood man arrested on warrant
DEDHAM - A Norwood man was arrested at 10 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of BJ's Wholesale Club on Rte. 1 on a warrant from Dedham District Court, police said.
Sean McDonough, 42, of 188 Roosevelt Ave., had a warrant for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
