Man charged with domestic assault
DEDHAM - A Dedham man was arrested yesterday at 9:55 a.m. after he struck his 15-year-old son because the boy had not gotten out of bed to go to work, police said.
Eric M. Wisniewski, 39, of 214 Sprague St., was charged with domestic assault and battery. The boy had red marks on his back, shoulder and neck, said police, but was not seriously injured.
Brockton man arrested on prostitution warrant
DEDHAM - A Brockton man was arrested Monday at 10:10 a.m. on a warrant from Wellesley Police.
William Eastwick, 43, of 92 French Ave, Apt. 1, was arrested on a warrant for maintaining a house of prostitution after he came into Dedham District Court to find out if there were charges against him.
Woman arrested on court warrant
DEDHAM - A Brockton woman was arrested at 194 Grant Ave. Sunday at 3:49 p.m. on a warrant from Taunton District Court.
Nicole Nelson, 38, of 25 Homestead St., Apt. 25, was arrested after someone driving on East Street flagged down a police officer and told him that two people were dumping grass clippings on private property near the Depot Road train station, said Lt. Robert Nedder.
The officer found a man and Nelson, who had a warrant for committing larceny under $250 and using a vehicle without authority, Nedder said.
Quincy man charged with shoplifting
DEDHAM - A Quincy man was arrested Friday at 2:58 p.m. after T.J. Maxx employees told police the man tried to steal clothes from the 300 Providence Highway store.
Guy W. Ahart, 45, of 1 Soar Court, was charged with shoplifting, third offense, after he walked out of the store with about $122 worth of clothing, police said.
