Hyde Park man turns himself in to police
DEDHAM - A Hyde Park man was arrested on a warrant after he turned himself in to police Wednesday at 9:36 p.m.
Bladis M. Pimental, 18, of 142 Central Ave., walked into the Dedham Police Station after police had left phone messages at his home about a warrant for intimidation of a witness, police said.
Pair arrested on shoplifting charge
DEDHAM - A man and a woman from Marlborough were arrested Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m. at Costco, 400 Commercial Circle, after store employees said the two were attempting to steal clothes, police said.
Shane H. Simoneau, 31, of 73 State St., and Siobhan Harrington, 32, of 8 Cotting Ave., caught the attention of store employees after spending a long time in the electronics section of the store and then putting several pairs of underwear, a pair of slippers and sandals into Harrington's purse, police said.
Harrington was charged with larceny under $250. Simoneau was arrested on two outstanding warrants, although he was not charged with shoplifting because the merchandise was in Harrington's possession, police said.
Norwood man faces drunken driving charge
DEDHAM - A Norwood man was arrested Wednesday at 2:03 a.m. at 203 Bussey St. after he crashed his car into a utility pole, police said.
Matthew Skuncik, 20, of 20 Coach Lane, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor.
Colorado woman faces OUI charges after crash
DEDHAM - A Colorado woman was arrested at 517 High St. after her car hit two other cars Tuesday at 7:06 p.m., police said.
Lois E. Campenella, 55, of 205 South Ridge St., Breckenridge, Colo., hit a car parked outside Finz Seafood Restaurant and drove away from the Washington Street eatery before police arrived.
Campenella, who has been living in the area for six months without a permanent address, also rear-ended a second car that was stopped at an intersection near 517 High St., police said. Neither driver was injured.
She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after property damage, driving under the influence of liquor and driving with a suspended license.
