Teen charged with shoplifting

DEDHAM - A 13-year-old Hyde Park girl was arrested 4:12 p.m. Monday at T.J. Maxx on Providence Highway and charged with shoplifting after she stole $50 worth of merchandise, police said.

Boy accused of stealing

DEDHAM - A 16-year-old Dorchester boy was arrested at 9:08 p.m. Friday at 77 Washington St., police said.

The boy, who ran when several AC Moore employees accused him of stealing markers, pens and spray paint, was charged with shoplifting, said Police Spokesman Lt. Robert Nedder.

Man facing drug charges

DEDHAM - A Dorchester man was arrested Friday at 6:55 p.m. in the parking lot of the Providence Highway Best Buy, police said.

Juan E. Javier, 27, of 51 Washington St., was charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, trafficking cocaine, and conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws, police said.

Arrested on warrants

DEDHAM - A West Roxbury man was arrested at 9:02 a.m. Friday in the Pep Boys parking lot at 580 Providence Highway, police said.

Mark E. MacDonald, 50, of 40 Shaw St., was arrested on warrants from Dedham District Court for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and larceny by check under $250.
