Man accused of shoplifting
DEDHAM - Police arrested a Roxbury man Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Best Buy on Providence Highway after they said he stole a personal digital assistant device from the store. Kenyatta Wilson, 41, of 94 Marcella St., was charged with shoplifting, giving a false name to police following arrest and on a default warrant for a motor vehicle violation from South Boston District Court.

Man charged with credit card forgery
DEDHAM - A Dorchester man was arrested Friday at 4:15 p.m. at Sears in the Dedham Mall after police said they received a call from store employees reporting a customer using false credit card information to buy $460 in jewelry. Davon Elwin, 30, of 65 Fuller St., was charged with larceny, credit card forgery, uttering a false instrument and attempting to commit a crime.

Man accused of assaulting officer
DEDHAM - Police said Anthony Bell, 43, of 76 Oakland St., Dedham, tried to strike an officer in the head on Bussey Street Saturday at 9:40 a.m. when the officer tried to arrest him on outstanding warrants.
Bell was charged with assault and battery of a police officer, resisting arrest and failing to register as a sex offender. He was wanted on warrants from West Roxbury District Court for breaking and entering and assault and battery.
Police said the arresting officer was not injured and a second officer used pepper spray to subdue Bell.

Woman accused of offering sex for fee
DEDHAM - Detectives, acting on an anonymous call and an advertisement on craigslist.org, arrested a Dorchester woman Saturday at the Holiday Inn on Ariadne Road at 8:30 p.m. after they said she offered to perform a sexual act for $150. Jessica Lee Blazic, 22, of 61 Bailey St., Apt. 28, was charged with sexual conduct for a fee and possession of marijuana.

Larceny charged
DEDHAM - Police arrested a Fall River woman and a Newton woman on Harris Street on Sunday after a short car chase from the Dedham Mall, where employees of Linens 'n Things said the two woman had stolen merchandise.
Carolyn Rogers-Mubiru, 51, of 174 Davis St., Apt. E1, was charged with larceny, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, failing to stop for a red light and failing to stop for a police officer.
Sarah Green, 57, of 27 Dale St., Newtonville, was also charged with larceny, receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
Police said when mall security identified the Volkswagon Jetta the two woman were in to an officer, the driver, Rogers-Mubiru, jumped a curb and ran a red light on Providence Highway before being stopped on Harris Street. Police said they recovered ``numerous clothing items'' and merchandise from several mall stores in the car.

Prostitution charges leveled
DEDHAM - Detectives arrested two New York City women on prostitution charges Monday at 3 p.m. at the Jefferson at Dedham Station apartments following an Internet sting operation.
Yet Chen Chin, 47, of 13 Eldridge St., New York, N.Y., was charged with sexual conduct for a fee, unlicensed massage, and maintaining a house of prostitution.
Ji Li Wu, 35, of 132 Sanford Ave., Flushing, N.Y., was charged with maintaining a house of prostitution and unlicensed massage.
Police said detectives investigating an advertisement in a Boston weekly newspaper offering massages were offered sexual acts by Chin in addition to massages.
