DEDHAM - A Randolph man was arrested around 7 p.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn on Ariadne Road after he left a nearby hotel without paying his $2,000 bill, police said.
Cory Lee Kraatz, 32, of 30 Himoor Circle was charged with defrauding an innkeeper of over $100, and two counts of larceny over $250 after he left the Marriott Fairfield Inn on Elm Street where he had been staying since early June, police said.
After writing two checks during his stay that both bounced, Kraatz told a hotel employee Monday that he was going to the bank to get money, said Dedham Police spokesman Lt. Robert Nedder.
Employees noticed Kraatz packing up his car and called police, who arrested Kraatz in the Holiday Inn parking lot, Nedder said.
