Man charged with kidnapping relative
DEDHAM - A Roslindale man was arrested outside of BJ's Wholesale Club on Providence Highway at 9:06 p.m. Sunday where he ran with his 4-year-old daughter after a fight with his fiance, police said.
After arguing with and hitting his fiance in the Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot, Rainer Liedtke, 35, grabbed his daughter and ran up Rte. 1 toward BJ's, police said.
Liedtke of 32 Bradfield Ave. was charged with kidnapping a minor by a relative and domestic assault and battery.
Shoplifting arrest at Sears
DEDHAM - A Mattapan woman was arrested at 7:55 p.m. Sunday at the Providence Highway Sears & Roebuck, police said.
Taniqua Mayhew, 17, of 17 Old Morton St., Apt. 1, was charged with shoplifting over $100 after police said she took approximately $352 worth of women's clothing from the store.
Man nabbed on warrants
DEDHAM - A Mattapan man was arrested at 3:08 p.m. Friday on several warrants at the Providence Highway Sears & Roebuck, police said.
Giovanny Acevedo, 19, of 1015 Morton St. was arrested on warrants from Dorchester, Quincy and Hingham district courts charging assault with a dangerous weapon, attempt to commit a crime, receiving stolen property, malicious damage to a boat, possession of a burglarious instrument, larceny and nighttime breaking and entering.
Polce arrest man for stalking
BOSTON - A Dorchester man was arrested at his home by Boston Police after violating a restraining order against a Dedham woman.
Dedham Police charged Keith M. Hazelton, 20, of 17 Maryland St., Apt. 3, with 15 counts of violating an abuse prevention order and one count of stalking after he repeatedly called his ex-girlfriend, police said.
