DEDHAM – Police said they arrested David Kenney, 39, of Appleton Lane, after he violated a restraining order on the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 10.
Officers were sent to Appleton Lane at 4:20 p.m. on a report of family trouble, and there they were told Kenney was not taking his medications and had been verbally abusive toward the victim, who feared he was going to harm her, said Lt. Robert Nedder. The restraining order says Kenney cannot abuse the victim, Nedder said.
Kenney pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Dedham District Court on Thursday, Nov. 12, police said.
Lynn man faces driving charge
DEDHAM – A Lynn resident was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 11 on a driving charge.
Jose Ernesto Rustrian, 26, of 49 Johnson St. Apt. 3 was charged with driving without a license.
Rustrian was arraigned in Dedham District Court on Tuesday, Nov. 17, when a Spanish interpreter will be present, Nedder said.
Man charged with driving on a revoked license
DEDHAM – Police said they arrested James Marshall, 22, of 35 Hillcrest Ave., on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 10:35 a.m. for driving on a revoked license.
Marshall pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Thursday, Nov. 12, in Dedham District Court, where he is due back for a pretrial hearing Dec. 23.
Woman charged with second OUI
DEDHAM – Police arrested a 45-year-old Hyde Park woman after she drover he SUV off Rustcraft Road into some nearby woods on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Lt. Robert Nedder said Officer Richard Flint was sent to Rustcraft Road at 6:28 p.m. after getting a report of a car accident. Flint saw a black 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser in the woods along a sharp bend by Rustcraft, about 20 feet from the road, Nedder said.
Its driver, Caroline Kotoski, of 1608 River St. in Hyde Park, refused medical attention, Nedder said. But Kotoski was unsteady on her feet, smelled of alcohol, and failed field sobriety tests, so Flint arrested her for driving under the influence, a second offence, and a marked lanes violation, Nedder said.
She was arraigned Thursday, Nov. 12, in Dedham District Court, where she pleaded not guilty, he added.
