Man faces stolen property charge

DEDHAM - A local man was arrested yesterday at 11:17 a.m. at his 10 Waterview Place home, police said.

Steven M. May, 21, was charged with receiving stolen property over $250. Police could not give more details about the arrest yesterday.

Man arrested on driving charges

DEDHAM - A local man was arrested Sunday at 6:58 p.m. at 200 West St, police said.

Joseph Shuley, 38, of 60 Leonard St., was charged with driving an uninsured vehicle, driving with a revoked license and giving a false name to police.

He also had a warrant from Newburyport District Court for driving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle as well as a warrant from Brighton District Court for attaching plates, driving an uninsured vehicle and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, police said.

Man arrested on court warrant

DEDHAM - A local man was arrested Saturday at 5:07 p.m. at his 96 Needham St. home.

Robert Perea Jr., 21, was arrested on a warrant from Norfolk County Superior Court for violating his probation.

Man faces warrant, other charges

DEDHAM - A Berkeley man was arrested Saturday at 12:47 a.m. after police took him into protective custody on East Street because he was intoxicated, police said.

Stephen Stephenson, 24, of 3 Town Landing, Apt. 26, was arrested on three warrants from Dedham District Court for disorderly conduct, making annoying telephone calls and shoplifting over $100.

He was later charged with receiving stolen property over $250 after a friend he had been staying with reported that he taken her Nintendo game console and several video games, police said.

Police arrest man on shoplifting, drug charges

DEDHAM - A Canton man was arrested Friday at 3:20 p.m. at Lowe's Home Improvement on Providence Highway.

Patrick Seanus Cruise, 34, of 61 Maple St., Apt. J, was charged with larceny over $250 after he put 250 feet of copper wire worth $587 into a shopping cart and tried to leave the store, police said. He was also charged with possession of a Class A substance when police found two small bags containing heroin in his cigarette pack, said police spokesman Lt. Robert Nedder.

Teen arrested on assault charge

DEDHAM - A 14-year-old local boy was arrested Thursday at 7:02 p.m. and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after he struck his father on the leg with an aluminum baseball bat, police said.

Man charged with receiving stolen property

DEDHAM - A local man was arrested Thursday at 12:28 p.m. at 54 Veterans Road after a woman reported that her stolen jewelry had fallen out of his pockets while he was sleeping on her couch, police said.

Daniel J. Sullivan, 19, of 1 High St., was charged with receiving stolen property over $250.
