Cops check accidental break

WESTWOOD - Police went to Dunkin Donuts on High Street at 11:38 p.m. Friday to check on a broken rear window on a vehicle there. The vehicle belonged to an employee from a local business, who confirmed the window had been broken by accident, and not by a burglar, police said.

Inspector spooks resident

WESTWOOD - Police went to Sycamore Drive at 1:53 p.m. Friday to check a report of a suspicious white SUV in the driveway. It belonged to a town inspector, police said.

Police break up party

WESTWOOD - A Westchester Drive woman called police at 11:54 p.m. Saturday to report people from a nearby house party walking through her yard. Police found and broke up the party. No one was underage, police said.

Broken window brings police

WESTWOOD - Police went to 915 High St. at 8:24 p.m. Saturday to check on a broken rear window on a vehicle there. The vehicle belonged to a driver from a local Chinese restaurant, and the window was broken accidentally, police said.

Pickup trashes barrels

WESTWOOD - A Perry Drive resident called 911 at 4:13 p.m. Sunday to report a red pickup truck ran over her trash barrels. Police took a report.
