Needham Police said they arrested three Dedham residents yesterday afternoon on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Needham officers said they were notified of a vehicle with three occupants wanted for failure to stop and possible weapons violations by Dedham Police.
At about 1 p.m. Needham officers said they located the car near the intersection of Greendale Avenue and Great Plain Avenue with two people inside.
Dedham Police responded, arresting two people and bringing them back to the Dedham station.
Later, Needham officers said they located the third suspect in the area of 200 Highland Ave. in Needham.
All of the suspects remain at the Dedham station. Names and details of the incident would not be released by Dedham Police.
