Friends and family gather Friday evening to take part in the dedication ceremony of a new fire truck in honor of fallen firefighter, Jimbo McIinnis, and to celebrate the career of retiring firefighter, Nick Spada.

The Dedham Fire Department held an open house on Friday, Dec. 18, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the East Dedham station, at 230 Bussey St., to show the refurbished firehouse to the public. At the event, a truck was dedicated to Jimbo McInnis, a firefighter who passed away over the summer. For over 20 years he was the driver for Engine 3, which works out of the East Dedham station. Here are a few of the highlight from the event.
