Aspiring fashion design students from MetroWest and beyond are participating in a unique show of their creations at Natick Collection.
Student designers from four area schools - Framingham State College, Mount Ida College, Lasell College and School of Fashion Design - are displaying their handcrafted garments in a rotating exhibit. Each of the four schools is given three weeks in the Neiman Marcus Court to display the student designers' pieces. The Framingham State College display is on exhibit until Oct. 2.
Framingham State chose from their program 18 aspiring designers' work to display in this exhibit. The designers are Kristen Anderson, Diane Aronson, Megan Butler, Cassandra Cabral, Kristyn Cianci, Melanie Cordella, Kelly Gorrochotegui, Nicole Herzog, Olga Jackson, Laura Kane, Nicole Killian, Jessica Lambert, Jessica LeProvost, Tara Mardin, Diamona Matta, Kristen Mazzaferro, Elaina Repucci and Tushawn White.
Natick Collection customers are invited to vote on their favorite designs, and the top vote-getting creation - one from each school - will be displayed at a final exhibit in November.
