Amy Haelsen said the new sign - including design, construction, lighting and landscaping – cost roughly $12,000. Dedham Square circle worked with Dedham Civic Pride and the town to fund this project. O’Connell said the project was funded through the money collected from businesses seeking liquor licenses.
Amy Haelsen said the new Dedham Square sign, at the corner of Eastern Avenue and Providence Highway, is a perfect way to let visitors know there is more along Route 1.“This is the first time we let people know Dedham exists on the Route 1 raceway,” Paul Reynolds said.
