P.J. and Erin McGowan, of Dedham, are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Christopher Ryan McGowan. Christopher was born on June 30 and weighed 5 pounds 12 ounces at birth.

Christopher’s grandparents are Ellie and Neil Sullivan, of Dedham; and Joe Penney and Edna McGowan, of Dedham. His sister is Allie Grace McGowan.

Joseph and Tina Montesano are proud to announce the arrival of their second child, Laurel Elise, who was born on May 3 at 7:37 p.m. at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Laurel weighed 9 pounds 5 ounce, and was 21 1/4 inches long at birth.

Laurel’s grandparents are Robert and Diane Taylor, of Norwood; and Paul and Carolyn Montesano, also of Norwood. Her sister is Leila Montesano.
