Deidre Elliot and Daniel Chouinard

Deidre Elliott, of Norwood, and Daniel Chouinard, of Attleboro, were united in marriage at St. Catherine of Siena Church on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008.

The bride is the daughter of Donna Elliott, of Norwood. A graduate of Quinnipiac University, she is a physical therapist at Harvard Vanguard.

The groom is the son of Henri and Pierrette Chouinard, of Attleboro. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, he is a mechanical engineer at Bose Corporation. He is currently enrolled in the High-Tech MBA program at Northeastern University, with an expected graduation date of July 2009.

Jessica Carlone, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jessica Dunn, Karen Giorgis, and Jennifer Murphy.

Steven Chouinard, brother of the groom, was the best man. The groomsmen were Noah Collins, Derek Croteau, and Andre Ellie.

A reception was held at Lake Pearl Luciano’s in Wrentham.

Following a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple now resides in Canton.

 

 

Lauren E. Decker and Michael J. McKay

Lauren E. Decker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Decker, of Dedham, and Michael J. McKay, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael McKay, of Norwood, were married on Sept. 27, 2008, at St. Mary’s Church in Dedham. A reception followed at Moseley’s-on-the-Charles in Dedham.

The bride is a graduate of Boston University’s Sargent College, where she earned a master’s degree in physical therapy. She is currently employed as a physical therapist.

The groom is a graduate of St. Anselm’s College in Manchester, N.H., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. He is currently working as an auditor for the trial court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The bride and groom are now living in Walpole.
 

 

Amanda L. Baker and Matthew A. Lodge

Amanda L. Baker and Matthew A. Lodge, of Norwood, were married on Oct. 25, 2008, at the Publick House in Sturbridge. The bride is the daughter of H. Douglas and Linda Baker, of Conway, and the groom is the son of Edward “Ted” and Rita Lodge, of Hyde Park.

The reception at the Publick House followed the 11:30 a.m. wedding. Justice of the Peace and family friend June Malenfort, of Greenfield, officiated. Readers were Robert Baker and Frank Esmond, godfathers of the bride and groom. Music for the ceremony and reception was provided by disc jockey Dave Williams. Charles Lyons was the photographer.

Melissa Hull was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Heidi Flanders, a cousin, and Katherine Whitcomb, a friend. Brooke Flanders was flower girl.

Daniel Tuttle, the groom’s college roommate, was best man. Groomsmen were Michael and Mark Lodge, brothers of the groom. James Foye, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer.

The couple honeymooned in California wine country.

The bride graduated from Frontier Regional School in South Deerfield in 1997 and from Franklin Pierce College in 2001 with a degree in technical theater. She is a receptionist/administrative assistant for Reflexis in Dedham.

The groom graduated from Boston Latin School in 1997 and from Franklin Pierce College in 2001, with degrees in business and fine arts. He is a business analyst for TechTarget in Needham.
