Seven Norwood High School teachers were recently honored at a retirement party held in their honor at Lantana’s in Randolph. They were praised and thanked by Principal George S. Usevich and Superintendent Edward Quigley for their years of devotion to education and the students of Norwood. After reflecting on their time at the school on the hill, the honorees were each presented gifts and mementos. They were also lauded for their combined 270 years of dedication. They are, from left, Leo Immonen, of the math department; Giles Parker, head of the social Studies department; Allen Carver, math department chair; Alice Axelrod, school psychologist; Bob Clifford, of the social studies department; and Walter J.
