Molly Maid to open 15 N.E. locations by 2010
Molly Maid, an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based franchise company in residential cleaning services, recently announced plans to add 15 additional locations to the New England area over the next year in order to accommodate a rapidly growing demand for home cleaning services both here and around the country, the firm stated. The expansion could bring nearly 75 new jobs to the area. Molly Maid already has five franchise locations in the area. De Scenza Diamonds

De Scenza Diamonds of Boston recently received the top designer retailer award at the fourth annual JCK Design Center Awards ceremony in Las Vegas. New regulations set for gasoline purchases
The Massachusetts Division of Standards has created new regulations to make clear to consumers the specific type of gasoline they are purchasing. The new regulations also make ``regular'' the standard label for the cheapest gas offered. The regulations, which take effect tomorrow, also mandate that if the marquee prices at a gas station are tied to a discount for paying with cash, getting a car wash or other incentive, that the incentive is clearly labeled. At some gas stations in Massachusetts, the old standard of ``regular'' for the lowest octane level of gasoline was replaced by ``economy,'' with ``regular'' being the term used for the next higher standard. For many drivers, the habit of buying ``regular'' gasoline had turned into actually buying a higher level than they wanted. The new regulations ensure ``regular'' is the standard term for the lowest level of gasoline at all gas stations in the state.
