On Saturday, Dec.15 and Dec. 22 Dedham TV will be airing the entire five episode cooking series "Feast of the Seven Fishes" with featured Chef Victor Paone of Salvatores Restaurants, beginning at noon both days.
Chef Joe Murphy of DTV's "The Chef's Table Series" hosts. "The Feast of the Seven Fishes" is an Italian Christmas Eve celebration. Today, it is a feast that typically consists of seven different seafood dishes. However, some Italian-American families have been known to celebrate with nine, eleven or thirteen.
Featured dishes in the series- with step-by-step instructions-include Arugula and Shrimp Salad, Baccala and Escarole Pie, Frutti di Mare, Calamari Pie and Bake Red Snapper Stuffed with Fennel. Recipes will be available on www.tablecritic.com.
