After announcing it would cease its funding for Planned Parenthood earlier this week, Susan G. Komen for the Cure said today it would reverse its decision.
Founder of Dedham-based PinkRose Foundation, Inc., Teresa Jay said that Susan G. Komen's decision showed the organization was not committed to its stated cause of raising money to fight breast cancer.
"I've never supported Susan G. Komen," Jay said Thursday, Feb. 2, a day before the organization reversed its decision. "That was one of the reasons I started my own organization."
